PulseMeet Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 2025-12-07
Introduction
PulseMeet is a lightweight communication utility. This Privacy Policy explains how we treat information when you install or use the PulseMeet mobile application. By accessing or using the app you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
Information We Do Not Collect
PulseMeet does not operate backend servers for user data. Consequently, we do not request, access, or retain:
- Names, postal addresses, telephone numbers, or email addresses
- Device identifiers such as IMEI, UDID, or MAC address
- Precise or coarse geolocation data
- Contact lists, calendar entries, or call logs
- Payment or financial information
- Any photographs, videos, or voice recordings beyond transient on-device processing
Third-Party SDKs
The app embeds the following software libraries for crash reporting and minimal analytics. Each SDK may automatically collect technical diagnostics locally on your device. We neither receive nor store that information.
Google SDKs
- Firebase Crashlytics: captures anonymized crash logs and performance traces. Data is handled under Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Analytics: records aggregated, non-identifying event metrics such as session counts and feature usage. No advertising identifier is collected.
Facebook SDK
- Facebook Core: utilised solely for deferred deep-link attribution. The SDK may cache limited interaction metadata locally; no personal identifiers are forwarded to our systems. Refer to the Meta Privacy Policy.
Device Permissions
PulseMeet requests only essential permissions:
- Microphone (optional): required for live voice features. Audio is processed on-device and is never transmitted externally by us.
- Camera (optional): allows real-time video effects. Frames are processed locally and are not sent to our infrastructure.
- Photo Library (optional): allows saving edited images. Access is triggered solely by user action.
Data Retention & Deletion
No user data is retained on servers controlled by PulseMeet. Temporary cache files created during sessions reside in the application sandbox and are removed upon uninstallation.
International Data Transfers
We do not transfer personal data outside your device. Third-party SDK providers may process diagnostic information in multiple jurisdictions according to their own terms.
Children’s Privacy
PulseMeet is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, please contact us and we will coordinate with SDK providers to delete such information.
Security Measures
We apply industry-standard secure-coding guidelines, including code obfuscation and certificate pinning where applicable, to mitigate unauthorized access, loss, or alteration of information. All media processing occurs locally; no recording is sent to our infrastructure.
Policy Updates
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted through an in-app link and on the official web page. Continued use of PulseMeet after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
